About to be 6 and 26 months

My kiddos lately...

Aren't they cute!  They really enjoyed getting to spend so much time playing and pretending together over Raegan's Christmas break from school.  

Raegan:

-is dissappointed she hasn't "grown a bit."  Apparently they measured in August and again today in class and everyone grew except for her, she's still just 41" tall and about 38lbs

-recently tried to "sacrifice her baby dolls to the Lord" by setting them next to our fireplace.  After a long talk about how that was done in the Old Testament but not anymore she was like, "well hurry up and get those babies out!"

- is reading very well, but occasionally shows dyslexic tendencies like reading "nap" as "pan" and "on" as "no." Her teacher hasn't mentioned anything about it to us yet, so maybe she's just getting ahead of herself.

- is very excited about her upcoming birthday party!

Cameron

- initiated potty training on his own accord and is doing great.  He simply signs potty when he needs to go 

- started calling his big sister "RaeRae"

- isn't speaking a lot but is picking up new words every week and knows how to melt my heart by saying "I love my momma"

- is in the 2 yr old room at MDO now and his new teacher has to hold his hand to get him to take a nap

- loves Mickey Mouse clubhouse! We do the hotdog dance at least twice a day in our living room!

He's stolen my heart!

Ahh could he be any cuter?!? So thankful that our friends Lauren and Nathan got to stop by the day after Christmas and that Nathan took these candid photos for us!

Putting away Christmas Decor

Well we finally started taking down Christmas decorations today.  We added a few new ornaments this year.  Wanted to share these two given to us by Philip's grandmother, Nanny.  

This one was for Raegan, who started ballet this fall and currently loves anything related to ballet! She pratices regularly at home and is already excited about her recital that isn't until May.  

This one was for Cameron who is currently obsessed with choochoo's!  He has a train table in his room along with toy trains, an ABC train app on his iPod and loves his Thomas the train book with train sounds.  

I don't think there could be any more thoughtful and fitting ornaments to fit my children this year! Thank you, Nanny!
